It takes a little bit of confidence or courage to start working toward a goal, then you might achieve a small success, which boosts your confidence, which in turn makes you work harder because you believe in yourself and your end goal.
Getting started on a goal requires some self-confidence or courage. Small success will boost your confidence, which in turn will motivate you to work harder when you believe more in yourself and your goal.
BECOME AWARE OF THE LITTLE VOICE IN YOUR HEAD
We ALL have an internal voice inside our head that is pretty much always talking, no matter if we’re actively hearing it or not. When this voice is thinking negative thoughts, it affects how we feel, which in turn affects our actions. Notice and become aware of this voice and try to make friends with it.
SET SMALL GOALS AND ACHIEVE THEM
Any teeny-tiny goal counts, e.g. cleaning a corner of your room or calling up a friend you have been meaning to or having one extra glass of water daily. Sometimes setting up big goals can overwhelm us and bring down our confidence, whereas setting and achieving tiny goals can help build it up.
GET OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE
Do what scares you. Be courageous and do something challenging. Even if you fail, you would win for trying.
TRUST YOUR INTUITION
Believe your instincts, we know what we want, what is right, what we need — deep down inside. Believe it and get comfortable calling yourself out.
TAKE CARE OF YOUR BODY
The way we look affects the way we feel about ourselves. So, do that one squat to feel fitter or dress up to celebrate yourself.
